Leadership is so incredibly important in all the work I do. Please see below my principles for creating both a high performing team and company:

 People & Performance

·      collaborative style with clear vision of what we want to achieve together

·      if interim turnaround then Performance & People

People

·      Know the people (all employees)

·      Management by walking about

·      Live the values, role model behaviours

·      Communicate, communicate, communicate

·      Appraisal: performance vs potential

·      Positive feedback

·      Regular 1-2-1’s with Leadership Team

·      Personal development plans

Performance

·      Clear strategy, broadly communicated

·      Revenue, Gross Profit by Geography/Channel/Customer/SKU, Marketing, Overheads, EBITDA

·      Cashflow Management

·      R&O’s

·      M&A

·      Investment requirements

·      Focus on priorities reinforced by “elevator speeches”
